Leading by Example - Obama Votes
Leading by Example - Obama Votes

Leading by Example - Obama Votes. Senator Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, with daughters Sasha and Malia, cast their ballots this morning as the fate of the presidency was handed to voters across America.
Amid tight security, the Illinois Senator and his wife arrived at Shoesmith School in Hyde Park just after 7:30 a.m. The candidate by-passed the one-hour lines that had already formed at the school. Daughter Malia yawned as she walked into the polling place with her parents and sister.
"I hope this works." Obama joked as he put his ballot in the machine. "It will be really embarrassing if it doesn't."
The room erupted in cheers as he declared, "I voted."
Chicago voter Don Jackson said he specifically didn't cast his vote early so he could be at the polling place and hopefully see Obama. He got that chance today as Obama gave him a hug as he entered the school.
The Illinois Senator will make a final campaign stop in Indianapolis before returning to Chicago for a rally in Grant Park where huge crowds are expected.
