I would like to personally thank you for visiting TopBlacks.com. Just by viewing our content you are supporting the TopBlacks vision. Our pages are full of the positive accomplishments of people of color. Each individual’s profile has a unique story to tell about his or her rise to the top. The profiles allow you to step into their lives for a moment and experience their life. You can look at the hardships and obstacles they faced. You will quickly realize, as we did, that these TopBlacks are no different from you and me. Some came from good home environments, others came from extreme abuse and poverty; yet all came to rise above their circumstances. They simply took their life one step forward… they refused to give up on their dreams. Some of them achieved their goals early in life, others late. They all, however, did not stop until they reached the top! TopBlacks was conceived out of the notion that many have been "conditioned" or "programmed" into believing that people of color have made insignificant contributions to society. Before the creation of TopBlacks, few could recall 10 people of color that are considered a TopBlack, outside of celebrities, entertainers and sports figures. TopBlacks is a tribute to all the people of color that have made positive contributions to society. They say that ‘good ideas come to those who wait’, but I would like to say, ‘Great things come to those who wait on the Lord’. I would like to make it clear that I believe that TopBlacks has been entrusted to me by my Lord to offer hope to all people of color.
It is not TopBlacks’ place to agree or disagree with 100% of what each TopBlack contributes to society. It is our goal to simply promote the positive. It is likely that you may see individuals listed in TopBlacks that have very little common ground, other than that they are successful at getting their point across. We respectfully understand that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion.
We see a very bright today and tomorrow for TopBlacks. Simply by continuing to visit TopBlacks.com, you are contributing to the TopBlacks vision.
